About the role

As the Ward Clerk you will be responsible for the delivery of consumer focused administrative support; ensuring equity of access throughout the patient’s journey on the ward and to assist the multidisciplinary team by providing efficient and effective clerical support so as to achieve desired outcomes.

- Monday and Tuesday week 1, and 2: 3pm - 8pm
- Week 3 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 3pm - 8pm

Key Responsibilities

- Providing prompt, equitable and accurate customer services in a professional, courteous and helpful manner, ensuring consumer focused standards are continuously maintained
- Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times in conjunction with Barwon Health’s policy and values
- Establishing and maintaining effective communication within a multi-disciplinary team

What we’re looking for





- Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- High level of motivation and willingness to learn, with a commitment to organisational values
- Computer literacy and flexibility to undertake shift work, with acute hospital experience desirable
