Project Scheduler

Our client is seeking an exceptional Project Scheduler to join their team based in ACT.

n

The client is a frontrunner in the Defence consultancy space, where they provide expert consulting/advice to the Australian Defence sector, focusing on PMO skillsets.

n

The Scheduler will be responsible for building and maintaining the master schedule, working as part of the wider PMO team and will require excellent stakeholder engagement/interaction skills.

The role:

- Build/manage the Project Schedule
n
- Contribute to the wider PMO team
n
- Work closely with key Project stakeholders
n
- Ensure the project schedule is accurately maintained at all times
n
- Manage internal and external clients in a friendly and professional manner
n
- Work with cross functional teams
n
- Work with the wider Business to ensure a high level of performance is maintained
n
- Support project meetings/updates
n

EXPERIENCE

n

n




- Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Scheduling
n
- Must have working knowledge of OPP (Open Plan Qualified)
n
- Strong stakeholder interaction skills
n
- Worked as part of wider Defence/PMO teams
n
- Experience in building/maintaining project schedules
n
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
n
- Must have an active AGSVA issued NV1 to apply.
n

Candidates must have experience working alongside Defence PMO teams. This role requires candidates who will take a pragmatic approach, have a problem solving ability and a good communication style both with internal and external clients. This is a busy role that requires a level of maturity, interpersonal skill and a communication style that builds confidence and creates a successful feel.
