About The Role

This is a National HSE Manager role reporting to the Head of Safety & Compliance, responsible for driving Health, Safety and Environmental outcomes across a multi‑site, national operation.

You will partner closely with operational leaders to embed safety into day‑to‑day activities, ensuring consistency in systems and practices while maintaining compliance within an ISO‑accredited environment.

This is not a "sit behind your desk writing policies" health and safety role - It's a hands‑on role requiring regular site visits and strong engagement with stakeholders across all levels of the business.

Day to day you will

- Partner with operational leaders to provide HSE support and guidance across sites
- Complete 40-50 visits annually - prioritising higher risk sites,



with quarterly interstate travel required
- Drive consistent implementation of HSE systems, policies and procedures - and a safety culture throughout the business
- Lead incident investigations and manage corrective actions
- Support audit programs and ISO recertification activities
- Monitor safety performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities
- Management of one director report - HSE Advisor
- Support injury management and return-to-work processes
- Build strong relationships across operational and leadership teams

About You

- Proven experience in a National or multi‑site HSE leadership role
- Robust knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO standards (e.g. ISO 45001)
- Experience working in operational environments such as Security, Facilities Management, Transport, Logistics, Retail or similar
- Ability to influence and partner with operational stakeholders
- Experience managing incident investigations, audits, and risk frameworks
- Confident engaging across all levels, including senior leadership
- Resilient and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, operational environment
- Relevant qualification in WHS - Diploma or higher preferred
