Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll play a pivotal leadership role across finance operations, financial reporting, compliance and governance. You'll lead a proficient finance team, ensuring the integrity of our financial data, delivering accurate and timely reporting, and driving continuous improvement through automation, AI and cutting-edge finance technologies.

This role is ideal for a tech astute finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a passion for leadership, process improvement and delivering meaningful business outcomes.

What you'll do
n
n
- Lead financial accounting, reporting, compliance and governance across the business.
n
- Deliver accurate and timely consolidated financial and management reporting that supports strategic decision-making.
n
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring strong controls, compliance and financial accuracy.
n
- Manage statutory reporting requirements, external audits, tax compliance, ASIC obligations and regulatory requirements for Australia and New Zealand entities.
n
- Oversee payroll governance and compliance with related legislation and taxation requirements.
n
- Drive effective working capital management, including short-term cash flow forecasting and cash controls.
n
- Lead the annual insurance renewal process and coordinate external audit activities across the finance function.
n
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes, improve reporting quality and increase efficiency.
n
- Leverage emerging technologies, automation and AI solutions to enhance finance operations and reporting capabilities.
n
- Support the Head of Finance in delivering projects that strengthen governance, improve performance and enable future growth.
n
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
n

What you'll bring
n
n
- CA, CPA or internationally recognised equivalent accounting qualification.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading financial accounting and reporting functions within a complex or global business environment.
n
- Strong technical accounting knowledge combined with sound commercial acumen.
n
- Proven experience managing statutory reporting, audits, tax compliance and regulatory obligations.
n
- Strong understanding of cash flow management,
working capital and financial controls.
n
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
n
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
n
- Strong systems capability, with Dynamics 365 experience highly regarded.
n
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
n
- A proactive, adaptable and continuous improvement mindset.
