Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to help lead the delivery of a master planned community in Melbourne's growth corridor.

This is a pivotal, hands on role with the prospect to shape a community from its earliest stages, working across planning, infrastructure, commercial delivery and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key part in bringing together thoughtful planning, quality infrastructure and a genuine sense of place, helping to create a community where people can truly thrive.

About the role

n

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the end to end delivery of a significant residential greenfield development, including:

n

- Leading planning and infrastructure delivery across all stages of the project
n
- Managing commercial outcomes, budgets and project feasibility
n
- Overseeing consultants, contractors and delivery partners
n
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local council,



government authorities and community stakeholders
n
- Contributing to the strategic direction and long term vision for the community
n

About you

n

You will bring proven experience in land development or master planned community development, exposure to built form is desirable but not essential.

n

You will also bring:

n

- A strong understanding of the residential development lifecycle, from planning through to civil works and settlement
n
- Demonstrated experience managing external consultants and stakeholders
n
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and project risk
n
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
n
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands on delivery
n
- The ability to work in a fast paced nimble environment and leverage your skills and networks to deliver outcomes.
