We're partnering with a rapid-growing Sydney fintech lender to find a Collections Officer for their credit team. It's a second-line role looking after a portfolio of loans across their full life, from settlement through to close.

You’ll own a portfolio, stay close to customers and brokers, and get ahead of issues early. You’ll handle arrears and hardship with genuine care, and manage the small number of files that need recovery.

What you’ll be doing:

- Own a portfolio of loans and build real relationships with customers and their brokers
- Get ahead of issues early and help customers find a way through when things change
- Keep accounts serviced correctly and performing to terms
- Monitor key dates like maturity, rate resets and review points, and manage each to the right outcome
- Assist with extensions, variations and restructure requests within policy
- Manage arrears end to end and negotiate practical catch-up arrangements
- Spot signs of hardship or vulnerability early and assess applications fairly
