About the Role
As the Workforce Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring workforce capacity is aligned with forecasts, employee availability, operational requirements and service delivery targets.
You will develop and optimise workforce schedules and planning strategies, monitor workloads and service levels, and make timely adjustments to support operational performance and customer service outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining workforce schedules aligned to forecast demand and operational requirements
- Monitoring workforce capacity, workloads and service levels and responding to changing requirements
- Analysing workforce data to produce forecasts, reports and actionable insights
- Maintaining workforce planning data and relevant system configurations
- Providing advice on resource management and workforce capability
- Identifying opportunities to improve workforce planning processes, systems and operational efficiency
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders to support effective workforce planning and service delivery

About You
You will bring relevant workforce planning and resource management experience, supported by strong analytical capability and a practical approach to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, resource management or a similar operational workplace
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate workforce data into meaningful insights and recommendations
- The ability to build knowledge of resource management requirements and support the delivery of agreed programs and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and considered advice to a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving capability and a continuous improvement mindset
- An enthusiastic and team-oriented communication style that contributes to a positive team environment
