We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a high-performing, unique trade school in North Brisbane. This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to teach across Years 10 to 12, including:

Key Responsibilities:





- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
- Support students of varying abilities in a classroom that fosters confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Develop students’ literacy skills, including reading, writing, and analytical thinking.
- Assess and report on student progress, providing explicit and constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school-wide initiatives.
- Actively contribute to the school community through events and relationship building.

What We’re Looking For:

- A recognised teaching qualification and current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- Experience teaching English (junior and/or senior levels) in line with the Australian Curriculum.
- A commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for professional growth.
