Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in the Greater Perth Area. The Salesperson will greet customers, identify their needs, and provide informed advice on products across categories such as electrical, computers, furniture, and homewares. Responsibilities include demonstrating product features, preparing quotes, processing sales transactions, and supporting add-on sales such as warranties and accessories. The role involves maintaining clean and well-presented displays, monitoring stock levels,



and coordinating with the team to ensure the showroom is customer-ready at all times. The Salesperson will also follow up on customer inquiries, assist with order tracking or delivery coordination, and uphold Harvey Norman’s standards for customer service, professionalism, and brand presentation.

Qualifications

- Sales and customer service skills, including building rapport, identifying customer needs, and closing sales in a retail environment.
- Product knowledge and learning agility to understand features and benefits of electrical, technology, furniture, and homeware products.
- Communication and interpersonal skills for explaining product information clearly, handling questions, and interacting with diverse customers.
- Basic numeracy and point-of-sale skills for processing payments, handling transactions accurately, and managing quotes or invoices.
- Time management and organizational skills to manage multiple customers, maintain store presentation, and meet sales targets.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Perth Area, including weekends and retail trading hours, as part of a collaborative team.
- Previous retail or sales experience is highly beneficial; experience in consumer electronics, furniture, or appliances is an advantage.
- Secondary school completion required; further education in business, retail, or a related field is an asset.
