In close proximity to the harbour and Northern Beaches, Bupa Seaforth is a unique home with plenty of onsite amenities. This large home accommodates 76 residents in superior accommodation with quality single ensuite rooms, and a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.

About the Role

n

To deliver effective support to the hospitality function within the care home, including catering,cleaningand laundry

n

Use your fantasticfood services and cleaningskills in a role where you really can make a differenceby providingour residents with an empathetic and personal approach.

n

About you

n

Previouscatering / food service or cleaningexperience preferred but not essential.

n

You will be a team player and someone who enjoys interacting with people and giving back to our most vulnerable.

n

Duties

n

n
- Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, qualityand hygiene standards
n
- Complete required documentation and reportingRespond to residents' queries and requests
n
- Laundry duties include loading washers & dryers, sort linen, hang, fold, wrap or iron linen
n
- Catering / food services duties include assisting with basic food prep, provide meals and snacks,



clear dining areas and dishwashing
n
- Cleaning duties include general cleaning; mopping, vacuuming, and waste collectionin the residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal and living areas
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Cleaning or catering experience preferred but not essential
n
- Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
n
- You will have an understanding of work health, safety and hygiene practices and the ability to work unsupervised.
