About The Role
The Specialist Engineer Power supports the planning, delivery, operation and ongoing improvement of power systems across Victoria’s heavy and light rail networks. The role provides engineering advice, technical analysis and support for projects, policy development and asset management throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
The position is also responsible for developing engineering standards, processes and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant requirements, preparing technical reports and briefings, and building strong stakeholder relationships. The role contributes to strategic and operational planning, identifies and manages technical risks and supports the safe, reliable and efficient operation of public transport power systems.

You’ll Bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline suitable for professional recognition (Mandatory).
- Experience applying engineering knowledge and principles in complex technical environments.
- General industry experience within the rail transport sector. (Desirable).
