Job Description

n
- Lead preparation of statutory financial statements, disclosures and technical accounting papers under Australian Accounting Standards
n
- Prepare finance inputs for Appendix 4C, 4D, 4E and other ASX financial reporting requirements
n
- Act as day-to-day point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audit schedules, supporting documentation and audit queries
n
- Deliver Group tax and finance compliance requirements, working with external advisers where needed
n
- Execute detailed month-end and year-end close, including general ledger integrity, group consolidations and supporting schedules
n
- Prepare and review key balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve outstanding items
n
- Support cash-flow forecasting and working-capital reporting through accurate financial data and analysis
n
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls, accounting policies and month-end processes
n
- Support the Finance leadership team on technical accounting, statutory reporting and other finance initiatives
n
- Report to the Head of Finance & Performance with direct access to the CFO
n

Requirements

n

n
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
n
- Robust external audit, technical accounting or financial reporting background
n
- Experience preparing statutory financial statements
n
- Strong month-end, balance sheet reconciliation and financial control capability
n
- Strong Excel and finance systems capability
n
- Clear written and verbal communication
n
- 5+ years' relevant accounting experience
n
- ASX-listed reporting experience,



either in industry or through external audit (nice to have; not necessary)
n
- Technology, subscription or marketplace experience preferred
n
- Exposure to PropTech, real estate, or B2B SaaS selling to SMBs/franchises (nice to have; not necessary)
n
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments (nice to have; not necessary)
n
- Experience marketing across multiple geographies and time zones (nice to have; not necessary)
n
