SENIOR PAYROLL OFFICER - $110/130K + SUPER - FLEX ENVIRONMENT - ADELAIDE, CBD

Are you a payroll professional who thrives on accuracy, loves a positive reconciliation and knows how to keep a business audit-ready without breaking a sweat? This could be your next move. Our client is a leading global consultancy behind some of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects. They're now looking for an experienced Payroll or Senior Payroll Officer to own end-to-end payroll and be the trusted go-to for all things pay, compliance, and reporting. This is an initial 3 months fixed‐term contract with a very high chance of permanency.

Nuts & Bolts
n

- Working in a team of 3, managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and on‐time payroll cycles (ADP experience a bonus, not essential)
n
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end management reports
n
- Handle month-end and year-end reconciliations between payroll and finance systems
n
- Deliver payroll tax filings, superannuation, and year-end reporting
n
- Support internal and external audits, liaising with agencies and auditors as needed
n
- Mentor and support junior payroll staff, promoting best practice
n
- Keep the business ahead of payroll legislation changes and communicate updates to stakeholders
n
- Get involved in process improvement and general finance admin as needed
n
