Job Description
n
The Indigenous Recruitment Officer will play a key role in attracting, engaging and supporting Indigenous candidates across our mining and integrated services projects.
n
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Indigenous employment,
building strong community relationships and creating meaningful employment opportunities.
n
About the Role
n
n
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Indigenous and entry-level positions.
n
- Source and engage Indigenous candidates through job boards, community networks, employment services, job expos and social media.
n
- Build strong relationships with Indigenous communities, candidates, employment providers and key stakeholders.
n
- Provide candidates with clear information and support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
n
- Coordinate interviews, pre-employment checks, medicals, police clearances and onboarding requirements.
n
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide regular recruitment updates and reports.
n
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and HR to understand workforce requirements.
n
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for upcoming project vacancies.
n
- Support Indigenous employment initiatives, engagement activities and career opportunities.
n
- Promote a positive candidate experience and ensure candidates are kept informed throughout the recruitment process.
n
- Assist with recruitment events, community engagement activities and Indigenous employment programs.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR or workforce coordination, preferably within the mining, civil, construction or resources industry.
n
- Strong understanding and interest in Indigenous employment and community engagement.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to build genuine relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
n
- Solid organisational and time-management skills.
n
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
n
- Experience using recruitment or HR systems such as ELMO, Workday, Oracle or similar will be highly regarded.
n
- A proactive, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.
n
- Ability to successfully complete and pass a full pre-employment medical.
n
- Must be able to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance.
n
- Must be currently residing in Perth or willing and able to relocate to Perth, WA
