About The Role

Stantec's Buildings team is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing Brisbane office. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of Brisbane’s most iconic and landmark projects, alongside nationally significant work that shapes communities and leaves a lasting legacy. We operate across all building types, including health, education, sports and leisure, multi-residential, retail and commercial buildings. What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and contribute to structural engineering design across the full project lifecycle
- Work on projects ranging from boutique builds to large, complex developments
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across health, education, sports and leisure, multi-residential, retail, and commercial sectors
- Mentor and support junior engineers as a senior technical resource
- Engage directly with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver outstanding outcomes
- Contribute to the development of the Structural team, be an ambassador to our brand and to our company culture.

About You

- Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Chartered status (MIEAust / CPEng) or working towards it
- Solid post-graduate experience in building structures (consultancy background preferred)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
- A collaborative mindset with the drive to take ownership of your projects
- Thorough knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
- Structural software knowledge of RAM Concept, SpaceGass and ETABS (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills




- Problem solving mindset with strong interpersonal skills
