This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist insurer operating within the property sector. This position is particularly well suited to Law Graduates, Paralegals, Conveyancers, Property Law professionals, or individuals early in their legal careers looking to move into a commercial environment while still utilising their legal and analytical skills.

Your new role
n
Working as a Claims Consultant, you will manage a portfolio of property-related claims while partnering with solicitors, building consultants, surveyors and other industry professionals to investigate and resolve disputes.
n
Responsibilities include
n
n
- Managing a portfolio of complex property-related claims
n
- Reviewing documentation, contracts and supporting evidence
n
- Liaising with solicitors, conveyancers, customers and external stakeholders
n
- Working alongside building consultants and technical experts to assess claims
n
- Managing high-touch claims through to resolution
n
- Handling difficult conversations and delivering exceptional customer outcomes
n
- Supporting broader business functions including underwriting, finance and operations
n
n
This is a role where you'll gain exposure to the full insurance lifecycle rather than working in a siloed function.

What you'll need to succeed
n
n
- Law degree, Conveyancing qualification, Property Law background or similar
n
- Early career legal professionals are encouraged to apply
n
- Property law and claims exposure highly regarded
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
n
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical capability
n
- Claims experience advantageous but not essential
n
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
n
n
