Pedco Engineering is a metal fabrication workshop located in the heart of Welshpool. We provide specialised steel solutions to industries throughout Western Australia including oil & gas, infrastructure, agriculture, mining, and defence.

About the roles

We are seeking experienced machine operators who are capable of:

- Reading and interpreting job cards, drawings and/or specifications to determine job requirements
- Measuring and marking plates according to requirements
- Setting and programming machinery
- Measuring and cross-checking finished product against drawings for accuracy and fit
- Diagnosing faults with the machinery
- Following company safety and quality procedures and guidelines
- Aligning to the Pedco core values
- Fulltime, part-time or casual positions available
- 38-hour week minimum with additional hours available Mon - Fri and on Saturday mornings
- Day shift or afternoon shift available

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role you will:

- Have previous experience operating a press brake, plate roller, section roller or pipe bender
- Take pride in your work (in quality and efficiency)
- Have a valid forklift licence
- Preferably have previous overhead crane experience
- Previous experience working with steel plates from 5mm up to 40mm would be desirable
