Our client is a boutique accounting and advisory firm led by one director, looking for a Business Services & Tax Manager to join their growing firm.

There is future upwards trajectory for the right person. Ideally, some one that is career driven.

The client is as large by turnover as some mid-tier tax team divisions, and the firm is in growth/acquisition mode, looking to expand further.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid Australian public practice experience who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and driving workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing & compliance for BAS/IAS, tax returns, individuals, co's, trust, p/ships
- Resolve/Communicate to clients implications of Div7A, UPE, Sect. 109 requirements
- Group structures and assessment of any inter-entity taxation issues
- Maintain, or create loan agreements, minimum repayments etc. or pay dividends
- STP, TPAR, MFR, QBCC reporting, BBAS, PSI, FBT, CGT and other various compliance
- Manage a portfolio of SME/LSEs acting as a trusted adviser
- Lead,



mentor and develop approximately 4-5 staff in your team
- Oversee workflow management, job allocation and deadlines
- Ensure high-quality client service and technical compliance

About You:

- 7+ years' experience in Australian public practice, with several as manager
- Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge
- Proven client and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- The ideal candidate will have a high-calibre skillset and experience
