An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant / Graduate Accountant to join a close-knit finance team within an ASX-listed business. This is a newly created position and is well suited to someone who has recently completed (or is nearing completion of) their accounting degree and is looking to commence their CPA or CA studies.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
- End-of-month (EOM) close processes and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly management reports for senior stakeholders
- Support with tax and treasury functions, including monthly BAS obligations and weekly cash flow forecasting
- Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks

About You

- Nearing completion of (or recently completed) a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field




- Genuine intention to pursue CPA or CA post-graduate qualification
- Strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
- Confident communicator who works well as part of a tight-knit team
- A proactive, can-do attitude and genuine willingness to learn
