General Practitioner (VR GP) - Women's Health

Melbourne | Full time or Part-Time | $240-$305/hr + GST

A rare chance for a VR GP with an interest in Women's Health to join a boutique, specialist-led clinic working alongside one of Australia's leading fertility networks.

Whether you're already practising Women's Health or looking to further develop your skills, this role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment with strong clinical support and an established patient base from day one.

You don't need extensive Women's Health or GP obstetrics experience. If you have a genuine interest in the area and some relevant exposure, the team is happy to provide training and support as you build your expertise.

What's on offer?

- $240-$305 per hour + GST
- Full-time or part-time contractor opportunity (minimum 0.28 FTE)
- Established patient demand and strong referral pathways
- No evenings, weekends or on-call commitments
- Approximately 4 patients per hour, allowing quality, patient-centred care
- Daily support from experienced Women's Health nurses




- Work alongside fertility specialists in a multidisciplinary setting
- Opportunity to develop your own Women's Health niche

Your practice may include:

- Fertility and pre-conception care
- Early pregnancy management
- Menopause and perimenopause care
- Contraceptive counselling
- IUD and Implanon insertions/removals
- PCOS, endometriosis and hormonal health management

For GPs with a particular area of interest, there is scope to develop a focused clinic within the practice.

What you'll need

- FRACGP or FACRRM
- Unconditional AHPRA registration
- Unrestricted Medicare provider number
- Genuine interest in Women's Health

Experience in fertility, contraception, menopause, early pregnancy, PCOS or endometriosis is beneficial but not essential. Qualifications such as the Certificate of Women's Health, DRANZCOG or Adv DRANZCOG are highly regarded but not required.
