You will be responsible for speech pathology service provision, including assessment and rehabilitation, providing you with an opportunity to develop strong clinical skills to support the management of people with complex physical and psychosocial care needs. * Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital* Maternity leave cover , 4 days a week until 4/3/2027* Working weekdays - office hours* Weekends and public holidays off **What you’ll bring** You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. To thrive in this role, you will have: * Recognised degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology and eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.* Demonstrated clinical competency in the management of patients with communication and/ swallowing impairments, such as aphasia, cognitive-communication impairment, dysphonia, dysarthria, apraxia of speech and dysphagia* Able to work autonomously and flexibly within an interdisciplinary team* Have clinical skills and experience in sub-acute/ community setting* Videofluoroscopy competency You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: * A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders. **Ready to help us shape the future of healthcare?** Join us and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives - and your career.Are you ready to apply for this role?
