Job Description

The Manager Environmental Health, Emergency and Rangers is a highly visible position not only internally but also externally to the community.

You will be the leader of the Shire of Broome’s Environmental Health, Event Approval, Emergency, Ranger, and Beach Lifeguard, and as such you will have a high level of trust within the Shire,so we are seeking candidates that have a high level of personal integrity!

Whileyou will have qualifications in Environmental Health, what will really excite us about your application will be if you are a candidate who is ready to take on this leadership role and lead our Environmental Health, Emergency and Rangerteam to the next level.

Not only will you enjoy working with communities, but you will be creative, energetic, and deeply knowledgeable about Environmental Health,



Emergency and Rangers.

Desired Skills and Experience

About the Shire:

Working for the Shire of Broome meansyou will enjoy:

- Salary band between $140,000- $160,000 base salary per annum (depending on qualifications, skills and experience).
- In addition to base salary there are generous allowances ($11,385.00Broome location allowance plus $20,500Broome rental or $25,000 homeownership housing allowance) and employer matched superannuation.
