About The Role
The Ministerial Events Lead coordinates Ministerial events, stakeholder briefs and queries, working closely with Ministerial offices, senior executives and government departments. The role provides timely, accurate advice on state and federal government protocols and supports joint Commonwealth and Victorian Government announcements and events.
The role leads event delivery, builds strong stakeholder relationships and influences senior stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. It ensures high-quality, accurate and concise materials are delivered to tight deadlines, while maintaining effective workflows, procedures and records. As a senior team member, the role supports a collaborative, resilient, protected and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications And Experience
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience in communications, events or public affairs, with an understanding of government processes, policies and executive leadership environments. (mandatory)
- Ability to understand complex and sensitive issues and communicate information clearly, succinctly and effectively, including for high-profile matters. (mandatory)
- A relevant degree or qualification in communications, media, public administration or political science. (desirable)
