You will be responsible for

- Underwriting of new and renewal Residential Strata risks in line with Eclipse’s risk appetite
- Performing natural catastrophe reviews, assessing risk engineering reports and other documentation relevant to the individual risks




- Strengthening sound business relationships with Eclipse’s business partners including intermediaries and clients
- Demonstrating exceptional decision making and customer service
- Developing of pricing strategies, renewal negotiation strategy and establishing plans on new business submissions
- Contributing to the growth and development of Eclipse by proactively enhancing the profile of the company through existing and new distribution channels
- Identifying, analysing, and developing sources of desirable new business opportunities

To be considered and successful for this role you must demonstrate

- 3-5 years of experience in underwriting of Strata / Property risks
- Ability to communicate confidently, with impact and influence with clients/brokers
- Accuracy and attention to detail with a focus on customer service excellence
- Ability to interpret complex information, review submissions and to operate and perform well in a team environment
- Full understanding of the Strata and Property insurance market, the products and services of key competitors and industry trends
- Willingness to continue to grow your personal brand within the insurance market and to expand into new distribution channels
- Understanding of natural catastrophe underwriting

- Customer focus with solid marketing skills and ability to communicate and professionally interact with people
