Job Description

Our client is seeking a passionate Product Developer to create innovative, globally relevant beauty products across colour cosmetics, skincare and fragrance. This is a hands‐on role managing the full product development lifecycle, working closely with global manufacturers to take new products from initial brief through to launch.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle from brief through to global launch
n
- Develop and refine product concepts, formulations and packaging
n
- Manage prototypes, product iterations and testing
n
- Evaluate formulation, texture, performance and packaging against competitor benchmarks
n
- Identify emerging beauty trends, consumer behaviours and new product opportunities
n
- Manage critical paths, timelines, costs and quality throughout development
n
- Work closely with Marketing, Brand, Regulatory, Quality and Supply Chain
n
- Build strong relationships with global manufacturers and suppliers
n

Key Requirements

n

n
- 3+ years' product development experience within the beauty industry
n




- Strong hands‐on experience across colour cosmetics, skincare and/or personal care
n
- Understanding of cosmetic ingredients, formulations and manufacturing processes
n
- Experience managing overseas manufacturers and suppliers
n
- Strong understanding of beauty trends, innovation and the competitive landscape
n
- Excellent project management and ability to manage multiple product launches
n
- Strong commercial mindset with a passion for creating creative, market‐relevant products
n

- Established network of local and international cosmetics/skincare suppliers
n
- Experience evaluating prototypes and formulations against market benchmarks
n
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Science or Marketing
n
- Flexibility for interstate and international travel
n
