Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our Workforce Rostering & Scheduling team within the social care sector in Perth, Western Australia. This Full-Time, permanent role is essential for ensuring efficient scheduling and rostering of staff, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of care provided to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the scheduling and rostering of staff to ensure adequate and compliant coverage for client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of staff availability, leave requests, and shift changes.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding their schedules and any changes.
- Support the management team in the development and implementation of rostering policies.
- Utilise scheduling software to optimise staff allocation and minimise gaps in service delivery, adhering to workforce planning strategies.
- Prepare reports on staffing levels and assist in identifying trends or issues.
- Provide administrative support to the Workforce Rostering & Scheduling team as required.
- Proficient and knowledgable experience in the use of ShiftCare
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, with demonstrated experience within the social care sector.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Experience with workforce rostering systems specific to the social care or healthcare sector.
- Understanding of relevant industrial awards and employment agreements for staff scheduling.
