About the Role:
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy? If so, we'd love to hear from you. We are seeking a dedicated individual to manage sensitive patient health records within a busy archival records environment.
As the Archival Records Officer, you will play a key role in processing health record documents into the online Clinical Patient Folder, maintaining record integrity, and managing hard copy records. This includes tracking the location of records, maintaining the manual filing system, cataloguing records, and applying record retention periods. You will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders, respond to general enquiries, and provide leadership when the Team Leader is unavailable.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of privacy principles and the secure handling of health information. You will thrive working both independently and as part of a small team, demonstrate excellent customer service skills,
have experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines to support service delivery, and possess familiarity with health information systems and health record management.

Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of four with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. This position is part-time at 29.4 hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata.
A merit pool may be established from this recruitment process and will remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill similar roles/future vacant positions.
