Elevate is recruiting an Associate Director in our eDDR - Document Review team. As an Associate Director you will be responsible for continuing and expanding the rapid growth and demand for eDiscovery & Document Review business unit. You will work closely with both customers and internal resources and play a hands-on role providing solutions, implementing and managing document reviews in our review centers.

Specifically, the Associate Director will

- Collaborate with clients, sales, and delivery to grow document review business.
- Plan and manage large scale document review projects from end-to-end, handling all operational and logistical aspects, including site set-up and operations.
- Train customers and teams on privilege and substantive document reviews and review platforms; interview, build, train and mentor review team.
- Bring to bear extensive SME knowledge of the use of technology to support document review efforts, including technology assisted review, as well as comparative strengths of various platforms and methodologies.
- Draw on this knowledge to advise and support clients on strategic document review solutions, and on the discovery process.
- Manage project documentation, as well as metrics and project status reporting.
- Support the sales team in selling document review services to clients, including responding to RFXs, attending sales meetings and preparing presentations and other collateral requested by the sales or marketing teams.
- Support the service team in issue resolution and exception handling, ensuring that substantive issues are resolved in a defensible, documented manner.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed with highest level of quality.
- Manage budgets, billing and project expenses.
- Liaise with e-discovery team as well as third party e-discovery vendors.

- Have detailed understanding of the use of technology, AI and TAR models, to support review efforts, including technology assisted review.
- Proven leader and motivator of people – lead from example.
- Confident to handle tough conversations with both internal and external stakeholders and be solution oriented.

Experience

- 12+ years of experience in data breach and document review.
- Prior experience in a professional services or legal support environment.
- Strong command of written English and professional communication.
- Exposure in supporting business development and go-to-market activities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with document management systems and workflow tools.

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to e-discovery platforms
- Ability to understand and engage with the logic behind e-discovery platform functionalities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law.
- Any AI, advance eDiscovery and data breach certifications would be a plus.
