Work with Classic Cars, historic muscle cars, hot rods. RECARB has been producing carburettors and performance upgrades for Classic Cars for 36yrs on the Sunshine coast. No carburettor experience is necessary as inhouse training provided, but must show a level of mechanical ability and technical aptitude.
Computer skills and online retailing an advantage. This is a casual position with flexible schedule, would suit student of UNI / TAFE or first/second year apprentice. Duties include general maintenance of workshop, assembling new carburettors, preparing and packing parts orders, some light machining and tool work, disassembling cleaning and preparation of carburettors, assisting tradesman with tuning of classic cars.
Often a fast-paced workshop, must be fit and familiar with cars.
