Amber Community is a not-for-profit organisation contributing to the safety and wellbeing of Victorian road users. We provide counselling and support to people affected by road trauma and address attitudes and behaviours of road users through education.

We bring together qualified staff, dedicated volunteers, people with lived experience and road safety sector partners, united by a commitment to improving the safety and wellbeing of all road users.

Our work supports people through the impact of road trauma while also helping to prevent it. Fundraising and partnerships are critical to helping us continue and grow that impact.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Campaigns, Fundraising and Partnerships Lead to join Amber Community, based at our Mitcham office and working four days per week (0.8 FTE).

Reporting to the CEO, this is a hands-on role leading our campaigns, fundraising, donor engagement and corporate partnerships.

A key focus is our annual Shine a Light on Road Safety campaign, while also building on our existing donor base and helping shape and grow Amber Community's year-round fundraising and partnership activity.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the planning and delivery of Shine a Light on Road Safety and other fundraising campaigns
- Developing new fundraising opportunities and community fundraising initiatives
- Building and strengthening relationships with donors and corporate partners
- Identifying and approaching prospective partners and funding opportunities




- Developing donor engagement strategies to support acquisition, retention and growth
- Monitoring campaign and fundraising performance and identifying opportunities for growth

About you

You are an experienced fundraising or partnerships professional who enjoys both developing opportunities and making them happen.

You are a confident relationship builder who can work independently, think strategically and manage multiple priorities, while remaining comfortable with the hands-on delivery of campaigns, fundraising initiatives and events.

You will bring experience in fundraising or donor/partner relationship management and event delivery, along with strong communication, relationship management and organisational skills.

Experience in the not-for-profit, charitable or health sector will be highly regarded.
