Matcha Garden is a Japanese-inspired café specialising in matcha and hojicha drinks and desserts. We value quality, consistency, and thoughtful hospitality. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Café All-Rounder / Barista to join our team long-term.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, all-rounder role where you’ll be involved in all aspects of café operations, including:

- Taking customer orders and delivering warm, attentive service
- Preparing matcha, hojicha, and coffee-based drinks
- Steaming milk confidently and consistently (Latte art is a bonus)
- Assisting with dessert preparation, baking, and plating
- Serving food and drinks
- Daily prep, restocking, cleaning, and dishwashing

Previous café experience is preferred, but attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic are just as important.

Shifts & Availability

We are ideally looking for someone who can be adaptable and work both day/night shifts.

please note:

- New team members will begin with training on mid shifts
- Morning/night shifts will be introduced once you are confident with routines, prep, baking, and service standards
