Casual Chef / Cook – Friday & Saturday Evenings

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef / Cook to join our team on a casual basis, cooking dinner service at our small venue. This isn’t your typical dinner service; it is for an original concept of eating escape rooms!

The role

- Friday & Saturday evenings
- Approximately 5 hours per shift
- $34–$40 per hour, depending on day of week
- Dinner provided each shift
- Small, manageable menu
- Casual position with flexible schedule
- Potential for additional daytime hours in the future, if desired
- Start date as early as Friday 25/9

You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking a small dinner menu as sous chef, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and ensuring food is prepared consistently and to a high standard.

We’re looking for someone who:





- Has previous professional kitchen or cooking experience
- Is confident working independently and in a team
- Is reliable and organised
- Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their food
- Can work efficiently during service
- Has a positive, easy-going attitude

This would suit a chef, experienced cook, or hospitality professional looking for a small number of regular evening shifts alongside other work.

Pay: $34.00 – $40.00 per hour
