Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CQMHAODS) supports people across Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana with specialist mental health and AOD care.
With teams based across the region, including Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Emerald, Blackwater, Biloela and Gladstone, we're committed to reducing harm, improving wellbeing and helping people live healthier lives.

About the role
Lead with clinical expertise. Bring your advanced AOD nursing skills, clinical judgement and confidence to provide high-quality, person-centred care and make sound decisions in complex situations.
Connect, collaborate and influence. Work alongside multidisciplinary teams and external partners, building strong relationships and turning complex clinical information into better outcomes for clients.
Make better care happen. Lead best-practice AOD services, drive quality improvement and help shape prevention, early intervention, health promotion and harm reduction initiatives.
Grow people and services. Share your knowledge through supervision, education and mentoring while contributing to clinical standards, service development and the effective management of people and resources.
About you
NMBA-registered Division 1 nurse with a current AHPRA practising certificate and the clinical know-how to back it up.
Bring advanced AOD nursing skills and the confidence to manage complex care, make sound decisions and deliver safe,
evidence-based practice.
Great communicator who builds positive relationships and works collaboratively to deliver coordinated, client-centred care.
Keen to improve, innovate and contribute to quality initiatives that make AOD services safer, smarter and stronger.
What we offer
Total remuneration value of up to $174,208 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $70.92 - $77.00 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
