Fixed Term Temporary part-time, 32 hours p.f. up to 18 months with the possibility of an additional 12 month extension

As a Clinical Nurse - Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the setup, coordination and management of clinical research activities, supporting the study Improving Outcomes in Haematological Malignancies in North Queensland. Working at an advanced clinical level, you will utilise your expertise in patient care, complex problem-solving and research coordination to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred research outcomes.

This role is ideal for a motivated registered nurse who is passionate about advancing healthcare through evidence-based practice and clinical research excellence.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

Salary range: $57.76 to $61.85 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)

4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:

Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.

GCP - Good Clinical Practice certification, or willingness to acquire within 1 month of commencing

At least two years, full time equivalent, post registration experience in research coordination, would be well regarded.

Experience in clinical research / trials involving haematological malignancies (including lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloma).

The applicant ideally will have a working knowledge of a range of software packages used in the clinical and management environment, including the Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, Matrix and Power Point.

This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
