Perina Group is looking for experienced maintenance plumbers and gasfitters, along with apprentices keen to learn the trade.

We are a family-owned commercial plumbing and gas maintenance business, established in 2011. Based in Osborne Park, we work across the Perth metropolitan area, including shopping centres, hotels, schools, offices and aged-care facilities.

What we offer

- Up to $70 per hour + super for qualified plumbers. Your rate will reflect your experience, technical skills and ability to work independently. Separate apprentice rates apply.

- Diverse commercial maintenance work across Perth. A mix of fault-finding, repairs and planned servicing that puts your trade skills to use.
- Support when you need it. Work independently, with an office team and experienced tradespeople to help when a job needs another pair of hands or a second opinion.
- Ongoing training and development. Build your technical knowledge and take on more responsibility as your skills grow.

Qualified plumbers and gasfitters The work

You’ll attend commercial properties to diagnose faults, complete repairs and carry out planned maintenance.

Your work will include

- Plumbing, drainage, hot-water and gas maintenance.
- Responding to breakdowns and identifying practical, lasting solutions.
- Using drain cameras, water jetters and other maintenance equipment.
- Keeping clients and the office informed, with clear job notes, photos and material records in Simpro.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their jobs, works safely and knows when to ask for support.

What you’ll need





- Relevant trade qualifications, a current WA plumbing tradesperson’s licence and gasfitting permit.
- Maintenance experience and strong fault-finding skills.
- A current driver’s licence and White Card.
- Clear communication, reliable attendance and pride in your workmanship.

Commercial maintenance, Simpro and backflow experience will be highly regarded.

Apprentices — learn more than just the basics

We’re also looking for apprentices who want to build a career in commercial plumbing.

You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain hands-on experience across different sites, systems and maintenance tasks.

We’re looking for people who are reliable, willing to learn and comfortable asking questions. You’ll need to follow safety instructions, take direction and contribute to the team.

Tell us whether you’re looking to start an apprenticeship or are already completing one. For existing apprentices, please include your current year and experience.

Apprentice pay will be based on your circumstances, apprenticeship stage and applicable rates. The advertised rate of up to $70 per hour applies to qualified plumbers only.

Hours and after-hours work

Normal working hours and any overtime or on-call requirements will be discussed during recruitment, including the roster and payment arrangements.
