About Us
Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT (Anglicare) is a not-for-profit organisation currently seeking Corporate Administrative Officer to join our team in Central office in Canberra. About the Opportunity:
As Corporate Administrative Officer, this position provides professional and responsive support to the CEO, Executive Team, Board, Board Sub-Committees, staff, clients, donors, volunteers and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for managing corporate administration functions including reception services, governance support, executive administration, donor administration, records management support, office operations, contractor coordination, facilities management and workplace health and safety activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional administrative and executive support to senior leaders, including the CEO and Executive Team.
- Coordinate Board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, meeting papers, minutes, and action items.
- Manage reception services and act as the first point of contact for staff, clients, donors, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
- Respond to and triage enquiries, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate service or business area.
- Maintain corporate records, governance documentation, contracts, policies, and administration systems.
- Support fundraising and donor administration activities, including database management, donation processing, and supporter communications.
- Coordinate office operations, including facilities management, supplier relationships, maintenance requests, and workplace resources.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, meetings, events, catering, and other organisational logistics.
- Promote a safe and compliant workplace by supporting Work Health & Safety initiatives, inductions, and emergency management activities.
- Build positive relationships across the organisation while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and exceptional customer service standards.
About You
- You hold a relevant qualification in Business Administration, Governance or a related field,
or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- You demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding children and upholding their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training or experience is desirable.
- You demonstrate experience in administration, executive support, governance, or office management roles.
- You possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- You have experience supporting senior leaders, boards, committees, and stakeholders.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have experience managing confidential information and maintaining accurate records.

- You have a current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card – ACT and Working with Children Check - NSW.
