Urgent requirement for Dell Boomi Integration Consultant - Contract - Melbourne

Requirements

Integration Design & Delivery · Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise integration solutions using the Boomi Integration Platform.

· Develop and maintain complex Boomi processes, APIs, connectors, mappings, integration workflows, and reusable components.

· Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and supportable integration solutions.

· Provide technical leadership across project delivery

· Conduct technical design and code reviews to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, integration standards, and Boomi best practices.

· Participate in solution and architecture discussions and recommend improvements to integration patterns, frameworks, and platform strategy.

· Work closely with business analysts, architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver integration outcomes.

Platform & Runtime Management

· Understand Boomi Runtimes, Runtime Clusters, Runtime Clouds, and Boomi-hosted Managed Cloud Services (MCS).

· Support the design, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of Boomi runtime infrastructure, including AKS-hosted Runtime Clusters where applicable.

· Implement and maintain security best practices across Boomi runtimes, MCS, AKS, APIs, certificates, credentials, and integration infrastructure.

· Manage platform configuration, workplace extensions, certificates, connectivity, and other runtime dependencies.





· Monitor platform utilisation and capacity and recommend improvements where required.

Governance, Standards & Lifecycle Management

· Define, maintain, and enforce Boomi development standards, naming conventions, reusable patterns, security standards, and integration governance.

· Establish and promote reusable integration components and common integration patterns to improve consistency and development efficiency.

· Ensure integrations follow established SDLC, change management, release management, and deployment processes.

· Manage and coordinate integration releases and production deployments.

· Ensure technical designs, interface specifications, process flows, configuration details, and operational runbooks are complete and maintained.

· Ensure solutions comply with organisational security, compliance, audit, and data governance requirements.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

· Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to Boomi developers and integration team members.

· Review team deliverables and provide technical direction to resolve complex development and support issues.

· Support knowledge transfer and capability uplift across the integration team.

· Identify opportunities to improve integration reliability, maintainability, performance, automation, and operational efficiency.

· Stay current with Boomi platform capabilities, releases, roadmap, and industry integration trends and recommend adoption where appropriate.
