About the Role

We have an exciting chance for an IT Support Specialist – Service Desk to join our team fulltime at our Eastwood Head Office. You will provide technical support - whether that's fixing an issue, setting up a new device or supporting the systems we all rely on every day. This role is hands on and makes a real difference by keeping things running smoothly, you'll be helping our teams stay focused on what they do best: delivering excellent care to patients. If you enjoy solving problems, working with people and being part of a supportive team. this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing IT function in a newly created role.

What your role looks like:

- Providing technical support for office applications, devices (PCs, printers, mobile phones) and remote access issues
- Working with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Offering ad-hoc training and help create support documentation.
- Handling operational requests and follow Service Desk procedures.
- Identifying trends in common issues and report emerging problems.
- Assisting with ICT equipment as needed.
- Supporting business applications, working with I-MED and other service providers.
- Keeping documentation up to date with changes and updates.
- Monitoring systems and resolve issues proactively.
- Participating in the on-call roster when required.

What you will bring:





This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving problems, and thrives in a collaborative team workplace. It will suit someone that is eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to meaningful outcomes:

You will have:

- At least 2 years’ experience in IT Support or similar role.
- Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Information Technology (desirable).
- Proven experience providing general IT support and troubleshooting, particularly in Office 365 and other environments.
- Proactive and able to work independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Available to work varying shift patterns to support the Practice.
