About Kool Beanz Goldsmith

Kool Beanz Goldsmith is a beautiful two-level early learning centre designed to provide a warm, welcoming and inspiring environment for children aged six weeks to six years, with a licensed capacity of 102 children.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to lead the Goldsmith team and play a key role in creating a high-performing, connected and positive centre culture. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who is motivated by developing people, strengthening operational foundations and delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families. You will have the opportunity to lead and inspire your team, establish strong relationships with families and the local community, and create an environment where children, educators and families feel a genuine sense of belonging.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position that combines strategic centre management with active involvement in the day-to-day life of the service.

As Centre Director, you will be responsible for:

- Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing and engaged team.
- Building a positive,



inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.
- Ensuring strong compliance, quality and operational outcomes.
- Developing meaningful and lasting relationships with children, families, educators and the local community.
- Supporting an exceptional learning environment that reflects the individual needs and interests of every child.
- Driving continuous improvement across the service.
- Providing strong leadership while maintaining a visible and approachable presence within the centre.

You will be supported by an experienced Area Manager and dedicated Support Management Team, providing you with the autonomy to lead your service while having access to ongoing mentorship, guidance and professional support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership & Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre including staffing, enrolments, budgets and compliance
- Lead recruitment and support the ongoing professional development of educators
- Drive the delivery of high-quality education and care
- Foster a collaborative, supportive and positive team culture
- Day to day centre Management
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and philosophy
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements
- Build strong relationships with families and community stakeholders
- Promote a culture focused on safety,



wellbeing and child-first practices
- Administration & Quality
- Maintain Quality Assurance and accreditation standards
- Implement VEYLDF and ensure adherence to NQF and NQS frameworks
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and compliance records

About You:

We are looking for a confident and inspiring leader who brings:

4+ years’ previous experience as a Centre Director

- A Diploma or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ACECQA approved)
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
- Excellent leadership, communication and mentoring skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Experience using Owna and Microsoft Office Suites

You will also hold current:

- Working With Children Check
- Current Police Check
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certifications
- Food Safety Supervisor certification
- Geccko Child Safety Certificate
