Make an Impact
As a Production Team Leader at our Kew, Victoria site, you’ll play a key role in creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability while supporting the delivery of strong commercial and production outcomes.
You’ll lead, motivate and support a diverse team of employees, helping the people we support build their skills, achieve their employment and NDIS goals, and succeed in the workplace.
Working closely with Employment Coaches and the wider site team, you’ll balance people leadership with day-to-day production requirements, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This is a Fixed-term, Full-time, 12-month contract role.
Key duties of this role are to:
- Lead, motivate and mentor a diverse workforce, creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.
- Support employees with disability to work towards their employment and NDIS goals.
- Coordinate daily production activities and delegate tasks across the team.
- Promote positive behaviour support and a collaborative team culture.
- Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS policies and procedures.
- Support skills training, assessments and performance reviews in collaboration with Employment Coaches.
- Ensure production meets customer expectations for quality, delivery timeframes and business requirements.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments where required to achieve operational outcomes.
What you can bring to the team
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team, ideally within a production, manufacturing or operational environment.
- A genuine commitment to supporting people with disability to achieve their goals and build their workplace skills.
- Experience within disability support will be highly regarded.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and direction to a diverse team.
- An empathetic and supportive leadership style aligned with Endeavour Foundation’s purpose and values.
- The ability to coordinate competing priorities, delegate activities and maintain strong production outcomes.
- An MR and/or forklift licence will be highly regarded.
- An open Driver’s Licence.
- Hold or be willing to obtain relevant pre-employment checks, including NDIS Worker Screening and National Criminal History Check.
