Wisdom Works Health Experts is a new multidisciplinary healthcare centre opening in October 2026 in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria.

Our vision is to provide accessible, patient-centred healthcare to individuals and families within the local and surrounding communities. The centre will provide general practice alongside allied health and other healthcare services, supporting integrated and collaborative patient care.

As a new practice, we offer an exciting opportunity for clinicians to contribute to the development of the centre while establishing and growing their own patient base.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and patient-focused General Practitioner to join our growing team.

This role involves providing comprehensive primary care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive patient consultations, assessments and clinical examinations

- Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions

- Ordering, reviewing and interpreting appropriate investigations

- Prescribing and reviewing medications within scope of practice

- Providing preventive healthcare, health assessments and lifestyle advice

- Chronic disease management and ongoing patient care

- Women's, men's, paediatric and family medicine

- Coordinating referrals to specialists and allied health professionals

- Providing appropriate follow-up and continuity of care





- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Working collaboratively with allied health and other healthcare professionals

- Maintaining compliance with relevant clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements and professional standards

- Participating in quality improvement and professional development activities

- Bulk-billed consultations where applicable

- WorkSafe services

- Chronic disease management

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current medical degree

- Current AHPRA registration

- Eligibility to provide Medicare-rebatable services at the practice location

- Medicare provider number, or eligibility to obtain one

- Appropriate qualified indemnity insurance

- Compliance with applicable Australian GP and Medicare requirements

- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Patient-centred approach to healthcare

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

- Strong organisational skills and accurate clinical documentation

- Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and ethical clinical practice

- Commitment to continuing professional development

Previous experience in general practice, primary care or community healthcare is desirable.

Experience working with diverse patient populations and across chronic disease management, women's health, men's health, paediatrics, TAC or WorkSafe patients will be highly regarded.
