Wisdom Works Health Experts is a new multidisciplinary healthcare centre opening in October 2026 in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria.

Our aim is to provide accessible, patient-centred healthcare to individuals and families within the local and surrounding communities. The centre will bring together general practice, physiotherapy and other healthcare services in a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a part-time basis and play an important role in both clinical care and the day-to-day coordination of the practice.

The Role

This is a varied part time role suited to a Nurse Practitioner who enjoys both hands-on clinical work and supporting the development and smooth operation of a new healthcare practice.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals and provide clinical services within their approved scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical assessment, treatment and management within approved NP scope of practice
- Support GPs and other practitioners with appropriate clinical tasks and patient care
- Provide immunisations and vaccinations within scope and relevant protocols
- Perform minor procedures and wound care within scope of practice and level of competency
- Assist with minor surgical procedures where appropriately trained and within scope
- Assist with health assessments, preventive healthcare and patient education




- Support chronic disease management and ongoing patient care where appropriate
- Assist with triage, patient assessment and appropriate care pathways
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up and communication with other healthcare providers where required
- Assist with clinical documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
- Support infection prevention and control procedures
- Assist with clinical equipment, emergency preparedness and stock management
- Help establish and maintain clinical protocols, workflows and practice procedures
- Support quality improvement, clinical governance and compliance activities
- Assist with practitioner coordination and day-to-day clinical workflow
- Work collaboratively with GPs, physiotherapists, reception and other healthcare staff
- Assist with the smooth and efficient operation of the practice
- Contribute to the development of the practice as services and patient numbers grow
- Undertake other appropriate clinical and practice-support responsibilities within scope and competency

Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Relevant prescribing and clinical authority within approved scope of practice
- Medicare provider number eligibility where applicable
- Current immunisation competency and relevant training
- Appropriate training and competency for any procedures undertaken
- Strong clinical, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and professional standards
- Commitment to continuing professional development

Previous experience in primary care, general practice, immunisation, minor procedures, wound care or clinical/practice coordination will be highly regarded.
