Junior Events & Admin Assistant (Casual) – Settler's Rest

Settler's Rest is growing, and we're looking for a proactive, organised junior to join our team in a casual role — with real potential to grow into a permanent position.

What You'll Be Doing

n

A hands-on mix of office support, wedding prep, and on-the-day coordination:

n

Office & Sales Support

n

- Assist with run sheets, timelines, floor plans, and vendor coordination
n
- Support light marketing tasks — social media, content prep, admin
n
- General admin to help the events and sales team stay organised
n

n

Wedding Prep

n

n
- Organise room allocations and ensure accommodation is guest-ready
n
- Set up wedding spaces (layout, décor, signage, styling guidance)
n
- Place cutlery, crockery, glassware, and assist with overall venue presentation
n

n





On-the-Day Coordination

n

n
- Support the event lead throughout each wedding
n
- Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes
n
- Be a calm, positive presence for couples, families, and vendors
n

Availability

This is a casual role with flexible hours based on our event schedule.

- Primarily Fridays & Saturdays

- Occasional Sundays for site visits
