Remuneration: Stream A, Level 3-4: $101,509.53 - $116,379.16 per annum inclusive of superannuation & locality allowance

As a Rural Ranger, you'll be on the frontline protecting our region's land, animals, and biosecurity. You'll work outdoors, engage with the community, and ensure compliance with important laws

n

In This Diverse Role, Your Daily Activities Will Include

n

n
- Providing high level customer service to members of the public and internal stakeholders
n
- Carry out compliance checks and provide expert advice
n
- Handle and manage animals and pests humanely and safely
n
- Collaborate across teams to improve environmental outcomes
n
- Maintain clear records and respond to public enquiries
n
- Monitor and manage stock routes and pest activity
n
- Assist with grant applications for rural projects
n
- Issuing infringement notices
n
- Recording and reporting of incidents
n

n

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

n

n
- Experience in pest and livestock management, enforcement, or rural compliance
n
- Confident communicator with valuable judgement
n
- Strong time management and teamwork skills
n
- Knowledge of local government operations and relevant legislation
n
- Driver's licence (C class)
n
- Working with Children (Blue Card) (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
n
