Opportunity to join a global leading renewable energy investment and development company, as PPA Manager / Senior PPA Manager.

The ideal candidate should possess solid commercial acumen, deep understanding of electricity markets, renewable energy regulations, risk management principles, and contract negotiation expertise.

Key Responsibilities

n

PPA Origination & Business Development

n

n
- Identify and develop opportunities for corporate, utility-scale PPAs.
n
- Build and maintain relationships with energy buyers, utilities, large commercial and industrial customers, and market participants.
n
- Support renewable project development by securing long-term offtake arrangements.
n
- Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and regulatory developments impacting PPA structures.
n

Commercial Negotiations

n

n
- Lead end-to-end negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements and related commercial contracts.
n
- Structure innovative and competitive PPA solutions aligned with project and customer requirements.
n
- Coordinate with legal, finance, project development, and risk management teams during contract negotiations.
n
- Ensure commercial terms optimize project value while managing market and credit risks.
n

Market & Financial Analysis

n

- Conduct PPA pricing analysis, market assessments, and revenue forecasting.
n




- Evaluate merchant exposure, contract risks, and hedging strategies.
n
- Support financial modeling and project valuation activities.
n
- Analyze electricity market fundamentals and renewable energy certificate/attribute markets where applicable.
n

Stakeholder Management

n

n
- Collaborate with project development, project finance, legal, and external advisors.
n
- Present commercial recommendations to senior management and investment committees.
n
- Oversee execution and ongoing management of PPAs throughout their lifecycle.
n
- Monitor contractual obligations, performance requirements, and compliance milestones.
n
- Resolve commercial disputes and contract-related issues as required.
n

Qualifications

n

Education

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
n
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
n

n

Required Experience

n

n
- 5-10 years of experience within the renewable energy industry.
n
- 3-4 years of direct experience originating, negotiating, or managing PPAs.
n
- Proven track record of executing renewable energy offtake agreements.
n
- Experience with solar, wind, battery energy storage, or hybrid renewable projects.
