Position: Sr. Network Engineer (SRv6)

Must Have Skills

SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN

Role Summary

Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with solid expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support Optus network transformation and modernization initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6)
- MPLS & Segment Routing
- BGP, ISIS, OSPF
- EVPN/VXLAN
- IPv4 & IPv6
- Traffic Engineering and QoS

Experience On

- Nokia 7750 SR / SR OS
- Cisco ASR9K / NCS / IOS-XR
- Juniper (preferred)
- Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, YANG, NETCONF/RESTCONF
- Experience in carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programs
- Ability to provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents

Preferred Certifications

- CCNP/CCIE Service Provider
- Nokia NRS-I / NRS-II
- JNCIP-SP / JNCIE-SP
- ITIL Foundation
