Site Engineer - Road Asset Maintenance Location:
Sydney NSW Type: Permanent, Full-Time About the Role We're
recruiting a Site Engineer to join a specialist road infrastructure
maintenance contractor operating under a long-term government
performance contract. This role owns the scheduling backbone of
project delivery, setting up and maintaining multi-level project
schedules, tracking progress against baseline, and keeping design,
cost and site establishment activities moving in lockstep. You'll
work closely with the Project Delivery team, with direct exposure
to site and hands-on responsibility for the design, cost and
reporting elements that keep works on program and on budget. Key
Responsibilities Set up and maintain multi-level project schedules,
updating progress against baseline and reporting on variances
Manage budget, cost control and earned value for the relevant scope
of work, including revenue and cost-to-complete forecasting Plan
and implement site establishment activities to meet site-specific
and contractual requirements Manage delivery of engineering design
activities through to completion, ensuring deliverables are
submitted on time, to budget and to quality standard Prepare,
update and implement the Design Management Plan for the project
Ensure timesheets for staff and subcontractors are completed and
authorised in a timely manner, and contribute to weekly,
fortnightly and monthly reporting Liaise with clients, site
personnel, vendors, subcontractors and suppliers on design,




documentation and site delivery issues Coordinate with external
parties and statutory authorities as required Ensure technical,
program, quality, environmental, community, industrial, safety and
commercial obligations are met and maintained on site Support
safety leadership on site, including hazard identification, permits
to work, subcontractor safety audits, and incident prevention and
reporting About You Bachelor of Engineering Current driver's
licence 5+ years' experience in a similar role Demonstrated
understanding of planning and scheduling functions, with valuable
command of MS Project or similar Project management experience,
including schedule sequencing and logical activity linkages
Familiarity with the commercial, contractual and financial aspects
of project delivery, including earned value analysis Experience
setting up project teams and site establishment for multidiscipline
projects Ability to work within and lead a team We encourage
