We're looking for compassionate and reliable Part-time and Casual Housekeeping Assistants to join our team at Monash Gardens.

n

The Opportunity

n

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming workplace by cleaning resident rooms and communal areas as directed by the Facility Manager, working a 9:00am to 5:00pm roster across a fortnightly schedule.

n

Your Responsibilities

n

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with Aged Care Quality Standards.
n
- Complete daily cleaning tasks using the electronic cleaning system (tablet).
n
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, kitchens, and laundry areas.
n
- Perform floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, carpet maintenance, and bathroom cleaning.
n
- Follow infection control procedures, including the correct use of colour-coded cleaning equipment.
n
- Safely handle, use,



and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with OH&S; requirements.
n
- Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
n
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure cleaning trolleys are stored safely.
n
- Support accreditation and compliance requirements, including unannounced audits.
n
- Monitor and maintain cleaning stock levels and report shortages as required.
n

About You

n

n
- Experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning (Aged Care experience highly regarded)
n
- Computer literacy to report incidents and work completed via iPad.
n
- A caring, respectful, and positive attitude.
n
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
n
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check ( Mandatory).
n
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (Highly encouraged).
n
