Job Description
If you're a 1-3 PAE lawyer looking to build a genuine specialisation in health, aged care and retirement living, this is an opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and sophisticated clients from early in your career. You'll join a highly regarded specialist practice with strong growth and exposure to a broad mix of advisory, transactional and contentious matters.

About the Role
n
n
- Work directly with two experienced partners and take meaningful ownership of your matters and client relationships.
n
- Advise leading aged care, healthcare, retirement living, disability and NDIS providers, as well as not-for-profits and private operators.
n
- Gain broad exposure across regulatory compliance and reform, governance, M&A;, disputes, major incidents and coronial inquests.
n
- Develop specialist expertise in a complex and evolving sector where demand for quality legal advice continues to grow.
n

Responsibilities
n
n
- Advise clients on health, aged care and retirement living regulatory and compliance matters.
n
- Assist with M&A; transactions, due diligence, corporate governance and commercial agreements.
n
- Work on regulatory disputes, major incident investigations and coronial inquests.
n
- Advise on retirement village, guardianship and substitute decision‐making matters.
n
- Develop trusted relationships with clients and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.
n

Skills & Experience
n
n
- 1-3 years PAE with experience in corporate advisory,
transactions, disputes or another relevant area.
n
- An interest in health, aged care, retirement living or other highly regulated sectors.
n
- Strong technical, drafting and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail.
n
- Commercial judgement and the confidence to work directly with sophisticated clients.
n
- A cooperative, organised and solutions‐focused approach, with a genuine interest in developing your career.
n
- Work directly with experienced partners and receive hands‐on exposure to sophisticated, high‐quality matters.
n
