The Opportunity
n
As a Senior Accountant within our Tax team, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering high-quality tax and business advisory services, and mentoring junior team members.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Prepare and review income tax returns and financial statements
n
- Prepare management reports and provide meaningful business insights
n
- Review and prepare BAS and IAS returns
n
- Prepare interim financial accounts
n
- Assist clients with tax planning and advisory solutions
n
- Analyse and review financial accounts
n
- Prepare tax effect accounting calculations
n
- Manage payroll processing and payroll tax obligations
n
- Prepare and lodge FBT returns
n
- Present financial information and recommendations to clients
n
- Support, mentor and develop junior team members
n
n
About You
n
You are a proactive and client-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building trusted relationships.
n
You will bring:
n
n
- CA or CPA qualification
n
- 3 to 5+ years' experience in a similar role
n
- Experience within a mid-tier, Big 4, or professional services environment
n
- Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge
n
- Proficiency in Xero and MYOB
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- A passion for mentoring and supporting others
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
n
